Happy Wednesday Day Friends!!
Most Wednesday's I feel like my motto is from the little engine that could!!
I think I can, I think I can make it to Friday;)
Today I am sharing another recipe!
This Recipe is actually from Shay over at Mix and Match Mama
It is from her new Cookbook
Shay does a fantastic job of step by step instructions!
But I thought it would still be fun to share!
Spicy Shrimp Pasta
It was a success at my house!
Shay says to use 1.5 tsp of red pepper flakes
or less to make it not so spicy!
I added the whole 1.5 tsp!
Next time I will only add 1 tsp!
It had a kick!
Ingredients:
1 lb angel hair pasta
1 onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
EVOO
salt and pepper
1 lb cooked and deveined frozen shrimp
thawed per package directions
1.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 cup chicken stock
2 cups fresh spinach
Boil my pasta~
In a medium-high skillet, I sauted my onion and pepper
I saluted my onion and pepper for about 5 minutes
Then added my shrimp and red pepper flakes!
Cook for about a minute!
Then add your chicken stock!
Stir it all together
Reduce to low heat
Drain your pasta and add to skillet! Stir really well to mix all your pasta, shrimp, onion, and pepper!
Then stir in your spinach and let it wilt down just a little bit!
Shay's Spicy Shrimp pasta was super yummy and super fast!!
What is one of you favorite recipes!

Don't forget it's
Which goes great with pasta ;)
Looks great! Not sure how spicy would go over in my house - but worth a try!
ReplyDeleteWe generally like spicy! But the 1.5 teaspoons of red pepper flakes was to much! 1 tsp should be great! You could do even less:)
DeleteTotally looks like something I would love!! I love anything with shrimp in it!:)
ReplyDeleteIt was so yummy...but spicy!
